How I stay organized as a creative

Meeting deadlines, multitasking, and flexibility are important attributes of any professional- especially in the creative field. Here, I will show you three ways I keep my thoughts and schedule organized.

1. The Notes App

This is one of my most-used apps. Anytime an idea pops into my head, I will jot it down in the notes app on my phone. As someone who regularly “cleans” out files, I find it relatively easy to organize and find the Note I need. When it comes to scheduling, I usually make a rough draft in the notes app before transferring it to my actual planner.

2. Filofax Planner

At the end of 2025, I invested in a Filofax Pocket Planner. I use it as a daily and weekly planner, and to track my spending and skincare. I find the clipbook design easy to use as I can reorganize the layout and pages as needed.

3. Pinterest

I use Pinterest as a mood board. A mood board is a visual collection of images, colors, and textures used to define the style, theme, or emotional direction of a project. When describing ideas to clients, it is always good to have examples for visual direction.
