Let’s Work Together!

Maia and I have had fun working on this project, and we’re eager to share our experience with others who have a story to tell, a poem to write, a picture to draw, a song to sing, or whatever creative art form they choose. Although this is Maia’s first illustrated book, she spent many hours in her formative years preparing for this step.  Her beautiful, playful illustrations and designs have brought life to my verse, and she can do the same for you. 

My passion in life is to make lives better for those who struggle with disabling illnesses such as mental illnesses and cancer. I built a career developing alternative community-based models of care and incorporated the arts at every turn. I have strategic, management, and organizational development expertise that I am happy to share with individuals and organizations looking to grow from a start-up to a successful operational stage.

My singing/songwriting sideline was influenced by several popular singer/songwriter’s of my time and my more than two decades long association with the Reminders, a country gospel band from Georgetown, Delaware, led by Kevin Short, who is also the owner of Mid-South Audio, a full-service music company in Milton, Delaware. I learned so much from those wonderful people, and I’m willing to pass what I learned along as well.
